Samsung Exynos 7880 CPU

Exynos 7 Series (7880) makes mobile experience highly enjoyable with enhanced performance and power efficiency thanks to the advanced 14nm FinFET process. It embeds eight 64-bit CPU cores and Mali-T830 MP3 GPU to run applications and game apps smoothly. It also integrates LTE-Advanced modem supporting up to Category 7 with 3CA downlink and 2CA uplink for fast and reliable mobile data transfer.

With advanced 14nm FinFET process technology, Exynos 7880 consumes up to 36% less power than its predecessor built on 28nm HKMG process at the same performance level. It enables battery life to be longer lasting while delivering drastically improved performance thanks to an octa-core 64-bit CPU and an advanced GPU.

Exynos 7880 is equipped with an LTE modem that supports Category 7 offering 300Mbps downlink and 100Mbps uplink speed. In addition to 3CA(Carrier Aggregation) for downlink and 2CA for uplink that binds different bandwidths for using network faster and reliable, it also supports FDD-TDD joint CA for better network flexibility.
